What To Do Before Your Next Lash Appointment

  • 1:

    Please be on-time!

    To ensure the best look of your lashes, please be on time for your appointment. If you are late we will do our best to lash as many of your natural lashes as possible in the remaining time you are scheduled for. Please take into consideration that we do have other appointments/obligations after your appointment time. Depending on your scheduled service/time, your appointment may need to be rescheduled if you are excessively late.
  • 2:

    Arrive with clean lashes and no makeup:

    It is important to arrive with clean lashes, residual oils and makeup will prevent the adhesive from properly bonding resulting in poor retention.
  • 3:

    Remove Your Contact Lenses

    Your eyes will be closed during the application of your lash extensions, to avoid any discomfort, it is recommended that contacts are removed to alleviate dryness and sensitivity. Clients must have at least 40-50% of lashes remaining to be eligible for a fill. Anything less than 40 - 50% of remaining lashes on each eye will be considered a new set

Maintaining Your New Lash Extensions

  • 1:

    Be Gentle

    Your eyes are delicate...unnecessary rubbing or pulling of the eye area may weaken the bond between the lash extensions and your natural lashes. Even worse, you do not want to potentially pull out any of your natural lashes by pulling or tugging on the extensions.
  • 2:

    Keep the Eye Area Clean:

    It is OK to get your lashes wet after the initial 24 hour waiting period. It is safe and recommended to gently cleanse your lash extensions. We recommend using a water base cleanser to gently and safely remove debris, oils, makeup, lint or any other residue that may diminish the bond between your natural lashes and your extensions. Buildup on the lashes may lead to eye inflammation, eye infections, or worse demodex (eye mites).
  • 3:

    Keep Your Lashes In Place

    We suggest using a clean mascara wand/brush to GENTLY brush your extensions. Periodic brushing not only helps keep the eye area free from any lint, etc., but it also has the added benefit of repositioning the lash extensions. This gentle repositioning helps keep the lash extensions in a smooth flow with your natural lashes preventing overlap, tangling, or pulling between the lashes.
  • 4:

    Remember to Book your Fill Appointment

    To keep your lashes looking their best, we recommend scheduling touch-up appointments every three weeks. Regular maintenance not only preserves the fullness and beauty of your extensions, but it's also more cost-effective and less time-consuming than waiting for your lashes to shed and then needing a brand new set. Clients must have at least 40-50% of lashes remaining to be eligible for a fill. Anything less than 40 - 50% of remaining lashes on each eye will be considered a new set. Remember, a little upkeep goes a long way in maintaining your stunning lash look!

Lash Lift

FAQs

Our Lash Lift treatment enhances the natural beauty of your lashes turning the eyelashes upwards creating a curl, giving them length, volume, and adding definition to your natural lashes.  If desired, your lashes can be infused with a tint as well as a keratin conditioning treatment making your lashes appear darker, stronger and healthier.  This advanced technique is designed to boost and lift the lash and offers a cheaper alternative to lash extensions as it lasts as long as up to 8 weeks, opposed to costly 2-4 week lash extension fills.

Lash Lifting only takes about 45 minutes and is a very comfortable treatment.  Depending on the health of your natural lashes, the Lash Lift can last between 6-8 weeks, which is slightly shorter than the natural life cycle of an eyelash.  It will last shorter if you are using lash growth conditioners.

Great for those clients with downward pointing lashes, clients not wanting the maintenance of eyelash extensions, and for anyone who just wants to give your eyes and amazing pop and instant lift!

The Lash Lift solutions are water based products therefore are not damaging and non-irritating.  The solution is only applied to new growth area of the lashes and not towards the tips of the lashes.
